I purchased this item for use with a home air compressor. Got tired of beating my knees and fingertips up opening the existing drain valve on the bottom of the tank. This part fit perfectly, and allows me to drain the tank standing up.
I recommend it for anyone with a home/industrial compressor.
Note, in the case of my compressor tank there is a need to change the feet, as the 12104 is slightly 'taller' than the original valve. Not a problem, was going to do that anyway, along with a set of springs to reduce noise and vibration.
