The Bendix 065478 AD‑9® Air Dryer is a stand‑alone, body‑mounted air dryer assembly designed for heavy‑duty air brake systems. This model includes a 12‑volt, 75‑watt heater/thermostat, standard desiccant cartridge, Metri‑Pack 280 Series sealed heater connector, and standard purge valve configuration. The unit features 1/2‑14 NPT supply and delivery ports, 1/4‑18 NPT control port, and a hard‑seat purge valve design for reliable moisture removal.

Engineered for durability and serviceability, the AD‑9® uses a standard‑thread cartridge with 11 inches of removal clearance and includes both upper and lower slotted mounting brackets for flexible installation.
