Bendix suggests that the AD-9 air dryer should be rebuilt every 3 years or 300,000 miles or less depending on the vehicle's air requirements. The rebuild must include a new desiccant cartridge. We recommend that you review the Bendix AD-9 Air Dryer Service Data Sheet for instruction on AD-9 operation and maintenance procedures.
