The Tramec Sloan 36231 gladhand is for the emergency side air connection, and has a red lock plate to make identification easy. The cast iron is zinc plated, and the return spring is made of stainless steel. These features mean that you're not going to have to replace this gladhand anytime soon. Tramec Sloan even made the gladhand seal out dirt and debris when it's not in use.
