PRIMUS IQ is a totally proportional electric trailer brake control. Primus utilizes the primary sensor technology from Tekonsha's high tech Prodigy brake control and features the Tekonsha® one step "Point and Go" set-up system. Easy-to-set systems allows the driver maximum flexibility when determining how the trailer should respond to a braking event. The snap-in dash mount clip and removable electrical connector allow for quick and easy storage when you're not towing your trailer. You'll also appreciate the digital readout that displays a secure electrical connection and the amount of voltage being delivered to the trailer brakes. Primus meets National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulations regarding tow vehicle/trailer light activation.
