The Simplex II SE features a rugged cast-steel top plate with a swing-lock mechanism, open-loop straight pull handle, and integrated automatic indicator for positive lock verification. Bracket shoes and pads provide stable mounting, while the lock adjustment system allows proper jaw engagement as the mechanism wears.
