This is a new power steering pump that replaces the Saginaw 7840099. Your reservoir may be different, and you just need the pump. It's easy to remove this pump from it's reservoir and install it in your old reservoir.

Simply loosen the bolts and pressure fitting on the back, place the pump face down on a vice or other object so only the reservoir is resting on it, and then give the bolts and pressure fitting a sharp smack with a dead blow hammer. There may be oil left in the reservoir, so you will want something to catch it before it hits your feet. The pump will drop down out of the reservoir, and you can remove the bolts and fitting the rest of the way. Be careful not to lose the o-rings on the bolts.

Do the same thing with your old power steering pump, and clean up the reservoir where the o-ring resides with some fine sandpaper, if needed. Wipe it clean, and apply a little oil before placing your new pump in your old reservoir.
