Everyone should have a tire plug kit. My son recently picked up a nail in a tire on his car, so I told him to take it to the local tire shop. They said that they couldn't fix it, and sent him home with a quote for a new tire.
I bought one of the TR20 repair kits to try and save the tire, and had it fixed in about ten minutes. It's been a couple of months since I fixed the tire, and we haven't had to add any air yet. Highly recommended!
