The installation instructions listed above cover the standard install on most trucks. There are some trucks that require a specialized installation, and those will come with the tonneau cover kit.
Lorado Tonneau Cover Features
- The Lorado tonneau cover uses the same 18-oz heavy duty, double-coated vinyl that is used in the Access Cover
- Lorado tonneau covers feature all black rails, bars and bows.

- The Lorado tonneau cover uses the same 1 1/2" Velcro® that is used on the Access Cover.
- Agri-Cover's new Element Seal for the front bulkhead rail is included with every Lorado tonneau cover.
- The Lorado's vinyl cover will remain flexible at temperatures of -40° and won't stretch in the hot summer sun. Plus, it is easily cleaned with soap and water.
- Lorado covers are custom made to fit your truck.
- Your truck's bed rails are left open, so the Lorado tonneau cover is compatible with bed rails, bed caps and under-the-rail and spray-on bed liners.
- Lorado tonneau covers have an automatic driver's side lock, so the cover is secured whenever it is latched closed. Plus, there is a manual slide lock on the passenger side for added security.
Lower Profile Rails - The Lorado tonneau cover rails have more angle than the Access Cover giving a lower profile, more streamlined appearance.
Reflex Latch - The Lorado's rear rail is automatically secured when you close the tonneau cover. Simply pull the quick-release cord to unlatch the rear rail.
Fast, Clamp-On Install - Lorado tonneau covers use the same easy clamp-on installation as the original Access tonneau cover. A few models require drilling to install, mainly Chevy Step Side trucks.
Front Element Seal - A new front rail seal has been developed for added protection from rain, snow and dirt. The Element Seal is included with every Lorado cover.
Xt-Dial Adjuster - The XT-Dial tension adjusters allow for fine tuning the tension of the cover fabric. No tools are needed for adjustment. Just turn the dial on either side of the truck.
Deluxe Storage Straps - The roll-up cover and support bars roll up neatly behind the cab, and they are easily secured with the strap system.
In our opinion, the Access and Lorado covers are so similar that Agri-Cover, the manufacturer, did not need to continue offering both covers. The only real difference is the low profile, 39° rails of the new Lorado cover versus the more vertical rails of the Access cover. Agri-Cover probably figures that they cannot discontinue the Access cover because of the brand loyalty they have built over the years. At the same time, they couldn't change the appearance of the Access cover because the loyal Access cover users have come to expect it to look a certain way. Because of this, the Lorado tonneau cover was born.
So, what are we trying to say? We're saying that you can feel confident in choosing the Lorado tonneau cover for your truck. It is every bit as good as an Access cover with even better looks.
