Bolt-OverInstall Time: 15 minutesThis billet grille simply bolts over the existing factory plastic grill. This mounting method does not require cutting of the factory grill shell. |
ReplacementInstall Time: 15 to 60 minutesThis grille is installed by removing the original factory grill and mounting the Carriage Works billet grille in the factory mounting location. Generally, no cutting is required, but you may have to do some drilling. Bumper grilles may require modification of the license plate frame. |
Cut-OutInstall Time: 1 to 3 hoursThese billet grilles require removing the factory grill shell from the vehicle. The factory plastic grill must be cut away from the shell, then the shell is cut and sanded for a professional look and the billet grille is screwed into the shell. Drilling and cutting are required. Installation instructions are provided, but you will need proper tools, skills and knowledge to complete this installation. |
Carriage Works Means Quality
Carriage Works was the first company to market billet grilles. They use their experience in the market to produce the finest quality billet grilles available today. Carriage Works uses only 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Billet Aluminum to reduce the possibility of rocks and other debris causing dents or dings.
All grilles are Tig welded in a CAD designed, CNC milled fixture which ensures "Aerospace Quality" tolerances. Cross bar lengths are held to a 20 thousandths tolerance requirement. Each grille must pass a 14 point quality control inspection, so you can be sure that your new billet grille will fit well and look great.
